Gurpreet Singh Lehal holds a PhD in Computer Science from Punjabi University, Patiala, India. Currently, he is Dean of the College Development Council, Director of the Research Center for Punjabi Language Technology, and Professor in the Department of Computer Science at Punjabi University, Patiala, India. His research interests include natural language processing, multilingual computing, optical character recognition, Punjabi speech synthesis, and Gurmukhi OCR.
