About
I am a PhD student and Graduate Research Assistant in the Department of Civil & Environmental Engineering at the University of Toledo, where my current research focuses on the biological treatment and control of harmful algal blooms (cyanobacteria). This work builds upon a strong academic foundation, including a Bachelor of Science (Hons) and a Master of Science in Soil, Water, and Environment from the University of Dhaka.
With over six years of professional experience as a researcher at the Bangladesh Council of Scientific and Industrial Research (BCSIR), I specialize in environmental remediation and chemistry. My expertise encompasses the fate, transformation, and behavior of pollutants, nutrient cycling, and the development of innovative solutions to improve environmental quality and human health. Passionate about advancing scientific knowledge, I am dedicated to contributing to groundbreaking research in sustainable treatment technology.
