Prof. S. S. Thakur, Retired Principal of Jabalpur Engineering College, Jabalpur, (M. P.), has published more than 290 research articles and supervised Thirty Ph. D. students most in the area of Topology and Fuzzy Topology and Fuzzy Data bases. He has received M. Sc. and Ph. D. Degrees in mathematics from Dr. Hari Singh Gour University, Sagar in 1977 and 1982 respectively. He has been successfully organize viz. “International conference on Soft Computing and Intelligent Systems” held in 2007; “International Conference on Engineering, Mathematical and Computational Intelligence” in 2019. He is a member of editorial board and serves as referee of many international Journals and Conferences. The main focus of his current work includes Fuzzy topology, Soft Topology, Intuitionistic fuzzy topology, Applications of Intuitionist Fuzzy Sets in Databases, Fuzzy / Vague controllers design and Vague Rough Data bases.
