-Graduation(B.Tech, 1980) & Post Graduation (M.Tech, 1985) from Institute of Technology, Banaras Hindu University, now IIT-BHU.
-Ph.D(Engineering) from Jadavpur University in the year 2025.

-Joined Bharat Heavy Electrical Limited (BHEL) on 27.09.1982 as Engineer Trainee and retired on 24.06.2016 as Additional General Manager.

-Served at Project Engineering Management, New Delhi as Engineer and became Senior Engineer. Served for about 7 years at New Delhi. Joined Power Sector Eastern Region at Project Management Department, Kolkata and served as Sr.Engineer, promoted as Dy.Manager, Manager, Senior Manager for about 14 years at various positions. Project Coordination of Tenughat Thermal Power Project, Patratu ESP Retrofit project, Rokhia Gas Thermal project. Served as key person for various Management Information System.

-Served as Management Representative(MR) of Health, Safety and Environment at Quality Department, BHEL, PSER , Kolkata as Senior Manager

-Served as Material Controller at Qarn Alam site , Petroleum Development Oman for 10 months.

-Served at NTPC Kahalgaon site for 9 years as Sr.Manager and promoted as Deputy General Manager. Became Senior Dy. General Manager & Site Incharge and managed for site closing activities.

-Headed as Construction Manager of BHEL at 2x150 MW Shirpur Thermal Power Project (Sintex) for 3 years and retired as Additional General Manager.

-Joined Narsee Monjee Institute of Management Studies (NMIMS) at Shirpur Campus as Associate Professor in Mechanical Engineering Department for about 4 years from 10.08.2016 to 20.07.2020.

-Associated with Jadavpur University as Ph.D Research Scholar and Guest Faculty for 2nd Year B.Printing Engineering and teaching Materials Science.
