About
Sukhdev Singh received his Ph.D. degree from the Department of Mathematics at the Indian Institute of Technology Patna, India under the guidance of Dr. Yogesh Mani Tripathi. He was the recipient of a Junior Research Fellowship in 2010 and a Senior Research Fellowship in 2013 from the Council of Scientific and Industrial Research, India, and a SERB International Research Experience (SIRE) Fellowship in 2023 by the Science and Engineering Research Board, India. Dr. Singh is currently working as an Assistant Professor with the Department of Mathematics at Thapar Institute of Engineering and Technology, Patiala, Punjab, India.
His research interests include statistical estimation, prediction, reliability sampling plan, and record values in the area of life testing and reliability analysis. He went on to publish in various International Journals such as IEEE Transactions on Reliability, Statistical Papers, Journal of Statistical Computation and Simulation, etc. He is also the reviewer of the IEEE Transactions on Reliability and Journal of Applied Statistics.
