About
Sourav Ghosh is a biosensors expert with an overall experience of more than two decades spanning industry and academia. He holds an MSc in Biomedical Engineering from the University of Oxford and a PhD in Acoustic Biosensors from the University of Cambridge. His research has led to improved biosensor methods employing acoustic and fluorescence transduction. He has been the investigator of multiple research and enterprise grants funded by the UK and EU. His fundamental research in fluorescence aptamer biosensor at Loughborough University now underpins the translational research and development at Cromerix, a start-up company, where is the Founder Director. Cromerix is developing one of world's fastest definitive microbial tests for point-of-care application across varied industry and clinical sectors. He holds an academic advisor position at Commonwealth Scholarship Commission, UK.
