About
I am a researcher in neuroscience with a strong background in preclinical models of autism spectrum disorder and neurodegenerative diseases. My PhD work focused on targeting the mTOR/GSK3β/CREB pathways using pharmacological modulators to improve behavioral and molecular deficits in the valproic acid model of ASD. Currently, as an ANRF-N-PDF fellow at the Centre for Brain Research, IISc Bangalore, I investigate the role of somatostatin interneurons in tauopathy using fiber photometry, viral vectors, immunohistochemistry, and transcranial electrical stimulation. My broader interests include translational therapeutics, circuit-level mechanisms of disease, and advanced neurotechnologies.
