Dr Manoj Verma is an Assistant Professor in Mechanical Engineering Department and has about 10+ years of experience with strong education professional working with the Governments, State owned entities, Govt./ Private sector owned utilities. Dr Verma holds a Doctor of Philosophy - PhD focused in Wind Energy from Maulana Azad National Institute of Technology and Master degree in Energy Technology with Gold Medal and he is a Mechanical Engineer by graduation.
He has completed a combined research project “Dust emission and dispersion modeling for open cast uranium mine” at Bhabha Atomic Research Centre (BARC) Mumbai under Board of Research in Nuclear Sciences (BRNS), Deptt. of Atomic Energy, GoI. He also served as an Assistant Professor in Mechanical Engg. Deptt. of Radharaman Group of Institutions for some time. He was involved in various consultancy projects and schemes of MNRE, GoI at MP Urja Vikas Nigam Ltd. Bhopal including Agriculture Solar Pumps, Solar Rooftop in RESCO Model for Govt./Private State Engg. Colleges, Medical Colleges and Universities across the state of Madhya Pradesh and also in developing 750MW grid connected Solar Project in Rewa District under Solar Energy Corporation of India. He has completed 02 collaborative research projects under TEQIP-III and published more than 30research papers in reputed International/National journals (SCI/Scopus indexed), presented renewable energy case studies of Madhya Pradesh in Tokyo & Bangkok and have one patent on “A Smart Device for Maintain Greenhouse Controlling Environments Parameters”.
Dr Verma has worked in areas of rural electrification, renewable energy, solar parks, solid waste management, waste to energy, smart gird, feasibility for locating manufacturing facilities for multinationals etc. He is also skilled in Analytical Skills, Management, MATLAB, Artificial Intelligence (ANN) and Data Analysis.
