About

Pallav Dutta is presently employed at Aliah University in the role of Assistant Professor. The position of Head of Electrical Engineering Department (Off.) was held by him from July 2019 to August 2021.

Prior to his association with Aliah University, he had been a part of the teaching faculty at numerous eminent government universities and institutes situated across various regions of India. A diverse range of fields, encompassing academia, research, and administration, have been engaged with by him over the course of the past 17 years.

At present, his primary areas of research interest encompass Visibility Analysis, Optimization of Lighting System Parameters, Human Centric Lighting, Driving-related Human Factors, Street Lighting, Renewable Energy, Internet of Things applications, and Smart Electrical Frameworks for Industrial applications.

Areas where he excels include the creation of curricula, teaching at universities, and the facilitation of online learning. The title of Chartered Engineer is held by him, along with memberships in various other distinguished professional organizations.

Notably, the role of a reviewer for a significant number of prestigious journal publications in the field of science and technology is undertaken by him. The Best Reviewer Award from the "Journal of Electrical Engineering and Technology" (SpringerNature) for contributions in the 2024 year has been received by him. In addition to this, involvement as an active member in the conference committees of various international conventions, congresses and symposiums held around the world is part of his contributions.
