About
I am a postdoctoral researcher at IIT Madras, specializing in seasonal forecasting using numerical weather
prediction (NWP) and AI/ML models. My domains of expertise include hydrological modeling, NWP
modeling, atmospheric sciences, weather forecasting, and nowcasting, climate change studies (downscaling
and bias correction), remote sensing and GIS, Google Earth Engine, stochastic hydrology, and machine learning
approaches in hydro-climatological studies.
