Dr. Srinivas Pachava

I am currently serving as Professor and Head of the Department of Public Health Dentistry at SIBAR Institute of Dental Sciences, Guntur, with over 27 years of experience in academic instruction and clinical teaching. I completed my BDS and MDS from Manipal College of Dental Sciences, where I developed a strong academic and clinical foundation.
To expand my interdisciplinary competencies, I pursued an M.Sc. in Psychology and an MBA in Hospital Administration from Acharya Nagarjuna University. I further obtained a Diploma in Mental Health and completed a Comprehensive Tobacco Cessation Certificate Course from NIMHANS. Additionally, I hold a Diploma in Criminal Justice and Forensic Science from University of Hyderabad.
My scholarly contributions include over 70 peer-reviewed publications in the domains of oral health policy, dental manpower, epidemiology, and dental education. I serve as a peer reviewer for several reputed journals, including those published by Springer Nature, as well as the Journal of Orofacial Sciences, Journal of the Indian Association of Public Health Dentistry, Cureus, Frontiers, and the Journal of NTR University of Health Sciences. I am also a member of the editorial board of the Journal of Orofacial Sciences.
I have received Best Paper Awards at prestigious platforms such as the Pediatric Dentistry Association of Asia (Singapore), the National Family Medicine Conference (Rishikesh), and the IAPHD Conference (Manipal). I have chaired numerous scientific sessions at national conferences and served as the Organizing Chairman of the 7th National PG Convention in Public Health Dentistry, reflecting my leadership in academic event management.
I further strengthened my academic leadership through a Faculty Development Program Fellowship at People’s University, Bhopal. I have represented Indian dental academia at more than 15 international academic platforms, demonstrating a sustained commitment to global engagement in education and public health.
