About
Dr. YASHWANT SAWLE, currently working as a faculty member at the Madhav Institute of Technology & Science, Deemed University Gwalior, and is a Former Assistant Professor at the Vellore Institute of Technology, Vellore, Tamil Nadu, India. He went on to complete an M.Tech. and a PhD in electrical engineering from the Maulana Azad National Institute of Technology (MA-NIT), Bhopal.
He has received recognition as one of the world's top 2% of scientists by Elsevier and Stanford University, USA, in 2025 & 2023. Furthermore, he has served as the Chair of IEEE PES MP and Senior Member of the IEEE community and Fellow Member of IETE.
With 15 years of teaching and research experience, he has an H-index of 25 and 67 publications, including two books and 25 SCI-indexed journal articles published in renowned outlets such as IEEE, Elsevier, Wiley, and Springer. His research interests revolve around renewable energy systems and power systems, the Internet of Things, and inverter/converter operation in microgrids.
Additionally, he serves as an editor in several renowned journals like Wiley, Springer, Hindawi and has been a guest editor for journals such as MDPI, Hindawi and Frontiers Energy Research. He has also been a keynote speaker at numerous IEEE conferences and has delivered expert talks at various universities.
