• Completed B.V.Sc from TANUVAS in 2001 and Joined Masters in Veterinary Pathology at IVRI, Deemed University with ICAR-JRF and completed in 2003.
• Joined as Research Associate in the Immunology Section, IVRI under the DBT-sponsored project and worked for the development of an oral viral vaccine against Ranikhet disease, Infectious bursal disease and EDS-76 through Poly-L-Lactide co-glycolide polymer microencapsulation drug delivery technique
• Worked as a Scientist at the National Institute of Pharmaceutical Education and Research for a few months in the department of Toxicopathology for the drug safety evaluation team as a histopathologist and immunohistochemist
• Joined PhD Pathology at IVRI, Deemed University with CSIR-JRF and completed in 2010
• Joined as Assistant Professor in the Department of Veterinary Pathology and worked in Poultry Research Station, Tamil Nadu Veterinary and Animal Sciences University in 2007 for Farm Health care management and in the breeding programme to develop new strains of layers and broilers
• Joined as Assistant Professor in the Department of Veterinary Pathology and worked in Central University Laboratory, Tamil Nadu Veterinary and Animal Sciences University in 2010 to take care of Clinical Pathology section
• Joined as Assistant Professor in the Department of Veterinary Pathology and worked in Centralised Clinical Laboratory, Tamil Nadu Veterinary and Animal Sciences University in 2011 to take care of Veterinary haematology, Cytology and Veterinary biochemistry
• Joined as Assistant Professor in the Department of Veterinary Pathology and worked at Madras Veterinary College, Tamil Nadu Veterinary and Animal Sciences University from 2012 to 28th February 2022 and was involved in teaching and guiding masters and doctoral research students.
• Since 1st March 2022, working as Associate Professor, Department of Veterinary Pathology, Veterinary College and Research Institute, Theni, 625602 and involved in the developmental and establishment activities of the college and department of Veterinary Pathology
• In total, sixteen years of teaching and Research experience
• Had three various externally funded projects sponsored by DBT, AYUSH and SERB and handled as Principal Investigator
• Guided 5 M.V.Sc students as Chairman, 15 M.V.Sc students and 3 Ph. D. students as member
• Published 30 international research articles, 53 National research articles, 22 popular articles, one book in a regional language and 32 gene sequences
• Expertise in parasitic pathology and molecular pathogenesis with pathway identification by doing continuous research in the research area with special reference to protozoan parasites such as Theileria sp and Cryptosporidium species
• Received 13 awards and fellowships at the national and international level
• In continuation with the research experience in Poultry Research Station, doing clinical practice as a consultant in the private aviaries containing various exotic avian species such as canaries, finches, budgies, lories, lorikeets, African grey parrots, Amazon parrots, conures, cockatiels, cockatoos, macaws, starlings, rock pigeons, roul roul pigeons, turacos, crown pigeons and domestic rock pigeons and identified various disease conditions and its management and also reported the disease in publications
• Published various articles in high-impact international peer-reviewed journals related to virus, viral genetics, virus evolution and parasitic pathology
• Expertised in necropsy, clinical pathology, exotic avian pathology and molecular pathology related to virus and protozoan diseases
