About

Dr. Nidhi Sharma is Professor and Dean of Applied Science and Humanities Department at VIPS Technical Campus School of Engineering & Technology.  She has 23+ years of Teaching , Research and Industrial Experience. She been awarded a PhD in the field of Environmental Organic Electrochemistry from Jiwaji University, Gwalior in the year 2001. She received Senior Research Fellowship from the Ministry of Environment and Forest during her research tenure. Prior to joining academics she worked as a Research Associate at Shripati Singhania R&D Centre Faridabad, JK Drugs & Pharmaceuticals ltd (Now Teva Pharmaceuticals Ltd). She possesses a rich R&D experience. She has formed an interdisciplinary research group and guided  B.Tech students in Major and Minor Projects in the field of Environmental and Air pollution analysis using Data analytical techniques . Her areas of specialization include Environmental Organic Chemistry, Applied Electrochemistry, Environmental Modelling and forecasting using machine learning tools. At her current workplace, she is heading the Centre of Sustainable and Smart Future, where she is working on numerous CSR initiatives and undertaking academic research on sustainability studies  with reference to UN SDG Goals.
