About
Dr. Sunil Kumar is a distinguished agricultural scientist and Fellow of the National Academy of Agricultural Sciences (NAAS). He currently serves as Director, ICAR–Indian Institute of Farming Systems Research, Modipuram, Meerut, India. He holds a Ph.D. in Agronomy and has extensive expertise in farming systems research, crop production, nutrient management, agroforestry, conservation agriculture, and climate-resilient agriculture. His research contributes to sustainable and resource-efficient agricultural production, with a focus on integrated farming systems, organic and natural farming, and improved resource-use efficiency. Through his scientific leadership and research contributions, he has made significant contributions to advancing sustainable agricultural systems in India.
