About
Dr. Anuj Kumar is currently working as DBT-Ramalingaswami Faculty/Assistant Professor in the School of Materials Science and Technology, Indian Institute of Technology (BHU), Varanasi (India). Prior to this position, he was an Assistant Professor (International Faculty Member) in the School of Chemical Engineering, Yeungnam University (South Korea). Also, he was Postdoctoral Research Associate in the School of Chemical Engineering (Department of Nano, Medical and Polymer Materials), Yeungnam University (South Korea). From July 2014 to March 2015, he was Assistant Professor in the Department of Chemistry in DIT University, Dehradun (India). He received his Ph.D. in Polymer Science and Engineering (Polymers & Biomaterials) from the Indian Institute of Technology Roorkee (IIT Roorkee), India in 2014. In 2009, he obtained M.Tech in Fibre Science and Technology (Biomaterials/Biotextiles) from the Indian Institute of Technology Delhi (IIT Delhi), India. Before, M.Tech, he also obtained M.Sc. in Organic Chemistry in 2006 from Chaudhary Charan Singh University, Meerut, India. He is currently involved in additive manufacturing of hydrogel-inks/bio-inks for tissue engineering and other biomedical applications. His interest includes Polymer chemistry, functional biomaterials, nanocellulose, lignocellulosic biomass, biodiesel, food packaging, bioceramics and bioactive glasses, quantum dots, LEDs, design and chemistry of composite biomaterials, tissue engineering, 3D printing of biomaterial-inks/bioinks for printing process and tissue models, nanotechnology in biomaterials, cancer drug delivery, surface modification of polymers and their characterization, processing of materials, functional foods and packaging, polymer composites/nanocomposites, energy-harvesting, bioelectronics and bio-textiles.
