About

R. Vinoth Raj was born in Kumbakonam, Tamil Nadu, India, in 1987. He received his B.E. degree in Electronics and Communication Engineering from Shanmuganathan Engineering College, affiliated with Anna University, Chennai, India, in 2009, and his M.E. degree in VLSI Design from Srinivasan Engineering College in 2013.
He has nearly 12 years of teaching experience in engineering institutions. He has served as the Head of the Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering at Dhanalakshmi Srinivasan Institute of Research and Technology, Perambalur, and has also taught at an engineering college in Andhra Pradesh.
He completed his Ph.D. in the field of Information Security through FPGA-based implementations at SASTRA Deemed to Be University, Thanjavur. His doctoral research was carried out in the Intrusion & Detection Laboratory under the funding support of the School of Electrical & Electronics Engineering. His research interests include secure cryptosystems, hardware security, FPGA-based architectures, and security solutions for medical and IoT applications.
He is currently working as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering, School of Electrical and Electronics Engineering, SRM Institute of Science and Technology, Tiruchirappalli Campus, Tamil Nadu, India.
