About

I am a synthetic chemist. My knowledge of organic and inorganic synthesis, heterogeneous catalysis, small molecules separation, and X-ray crystallography has allowed me to excel at solving complex problems in multidisciplinary collaborative research projects.

I have earned my Ph.D. in Chemical Sciences, focusing on flexible and semirigid bis(tridentate) ligands and related metal-organic frameworks (MOFs). During my Ph.D. work, I have developed expertise in the design and synthesis of functional organic linkers for novel multi-dimensional MOFs and pioneered the development of MOF-based heterogeneous catalysts for catalyzing organic reactions within the research group.

My research at the University of Liverpool entails the design and synthesis of ordered peptide scaffold novel 'Flexible Metal-Organic Frameworks (FMOFs)' and successfully developed MOFs-based columns (stationary phases) for gas chromatography (GC) and high-performance liquid chromatography (HPLC) applications. Achieved efficient separation of small molecules and isomers.

I have wet chemistry experience in synthetic organic (synthesis of small organic molecules/ligands and organic transformations via heterogeneous catalysis) and inorganic (synthesis of multifunctional MOFs) chemistry and characterization using various analytical techniques, and I now focusing on more applied applications of MOFs.
