About
I am a comparative psychologist interested in the emotional mechanisms of social behavior and cognition, particularly emotion contagion and its link to empathy and cooperation. Through a phylogenetic angle I aim to answer why emotions evolved. To this end, my research adopts an interdisciplinary approach (psychology and biology) and employs mixed behavioral, cognitive, and physiological methods.
