Dr. Niladri Sekhar Dash is Professor & Head, Linguistic Research Unit, Indian Statistical Institute, Kolkata (Institute of National Importance, Govt. of India). For the last 27 years, he is working in Corpus Linguistics, Language Technology, Language Documentation & Digitization, Lexicography, Computer Assisted Language Teaching, Digital Humanities, & Translation. He has published 17 books and 261 research papers in peer-reviewed international & national journals, anthologies, and conference proceedings. He is a Visiting Fellow of the British Academy, UK (2018), Visting Research Fellow of PCLS, CeLM, University of Reading, UK (2018-2021), and Visiting Fellow of the Language & Brain Lab, University of Oxford, UK (2019). As an invited speaker, he has delivered talks at more than 40 Universities and institutes in India and abroad. He acts as a Consultant for several multinational organizations working on corpora, Language Technology, and Lexicography. He is the PI 18 projects funded by various agencies.
