About
WHO AM I:
Postdoctoral Research Associate at IIT Palakkad. A self-motivated, detail-oriented biomedical researcher with expertise and experience in amalgamating Nanotechnology with Bioinformatics and Pharmaceuticals for combating cancers and infectious diseases. Holds 5 patents (2 US, 2 Indian, 1 PCT), 11 scopus-indexed international publications, 1 IND filing to US-FDA, and 2 other drugs under NTRO.
I always aspire to deliver translatable cancer medicines and antiviral formulations from all the research I do. Also, independently developed formulations to treat the crippling pain associated with Rheumatoid arthritis, and seborrheic dermatitis.
Inspired by Integrative medicine, I help suffering patients in a holistic way, whatever little possible through my research.
My uniqueness: I think beyond scientific article publishing; help needy patients to treat their diseases by helping them to optimize their own functional food-drug-life style combination - all in a scientific way.
RESEARCH INTERESTS:
• Theranostic Nanosystems • polyherbaceutical nano-formulations •Studying biological fate of NP in vivo • Developing novel Phyto-Photo (PDT) Nanosystems for cancers and cardiovascular disorders (atherosclerotic plaques) • In silico designed Next-Gen Nanomedicines
EDUCATION:
MSc in Bioinformatics (Annamalai University FIRST Rank, merit award by Central and state Govts separately, India)
MTech in Nanomedical Sciences (DST-India sponsored MERIT fellow for full 2 years MTech programme)
PhD in Cancer Nanomedicine and drug delivery (Recognized by US, Indian Patent offices. 5 granted PATENTS)
