About
Dr. Sheetla Prasad is currently working as an Associate Professor in the Department of Electrical, Electronics, and Communication Engineering at Galgotias University, Greater Noida, India. He received his Bachelor's degree (B.Tech.) in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Biju Patnaik University of Technology, Rourkela, India, in 2010; his Master's degree (M.Tech.) in Power Systems from the National Institute of Technology, Tiruchirappalli, India, in 2012; and his Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) degree in Electrical Engineering from Motilal Nehru National Institute of Technology, Allahabad, India, in 2017.
He has over 11 years of teaching and research experience. He has published more than 50 articles, including articles in SCI/SCIE/Scopus-indexed journals, book chapters, patents, and presentations at international and national conferences. He has also edited a book on Enhancing the Control of Systems and Devices. He supervised 2.0 Ph.D. Thesis, 4.0 M.Tech. Dissertation and more than 20 UG Projects. His research interests include, Artificial Intelligent based controller design, sliding mode control, load frequency control, cyber-attacks on automatic generation systems, microgrid operation and control, Multi-terminal DC grid power flow control, droop control etc. He serves as a reviewer for several highly reputed journals, including those published by IEEE, IET, Springer, Wiley, Taylor & Francis, and Elsevier. He is members of the International Association of Engineers; and the International Association of Electrical, Electronics, & Energy Engineering.
