About
Prof. (Dr.) M. Arockia Babu is a distinguished academician and research professional with over 25 years of extensive experience in pharmaceutical education, research, and academic administration. He is currently serving as Dean, School of Medical and Allied Sciences (Pharmacy), Galgotias University, Greater Noida. Previously, he wasDirector, Institute of Pharmaceutical Research, GLA University, Mathurafor approximately three years.
Throughout his career, Dr. Babu has held several prestigious leadership positions, including Dean, School of Pharmacy, Sharda University, Greater Noida, and Director–Principal, Chandigarh College of Pharmacy, CGC Landran, Mohali, Punjab, where he served for over four years. He also worked as Professor and Dean at M.M. College of Pharmacy, Maharishi Markandeshwar University, Mullana, Haryana.
Dr. Babu’s professional journey includes over eight and a half years of international academic experience at globally reputed institutions. He served as a faculty member at the School of Pharmacy, International Medical University (IMU), Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, for nearly five years, and at the Faculty of Pharmacy, Tobruk University, Tobruk, Libya, for more than three and a half years.
A prolific researcher, Dr. Babu has published extensively in reputed national and international journals and presented his research at prominent conferences in Malaysia, Singapore, Australia, New Zealand, and Thailand. His areas of expertise include NIRF and QCI-PCI rankings, NBA and NAAC accreditation processes, and QS World University Rankings. He also serves as an advisory and editorial board member for several scientific journals.
Dr. Babu is a life member of leading professional organizations, including the Indian Pharmaceutical Association (IPA), Association of Pharmacy Teachers of India (APTI), and the Indian Hospital Pharmacists Association (IHPA).
