About

I am an Interventional Psychiatrist and Clinician-Researcher specializing in Non-Invasive Brain Stimulation (NIBS) and precision psychiatry. I currently serve as an Interventional Psychiatry Fellow at the University of Toronto, working within the Interventional Psychiatry Program at St. Michael’s Hospital, where I provide advanced clinical care using Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS), Transcranial Electrical Stimulation (tES), Intravenous Ketamine, and Electroconvulsive Therapy (ECT) for individuals with treatment-resistant mood, anxiety, obsessive-compulsive, and suicidal disorders.

My clinical practice is closely integrated with research, with a focus on accelerated and next-generation neuromodulation protocols, rapid-acting treatments, and neuroscience-informed personalization of care. I am a recipient of the DBT–India Alliance Clinical Fellowship in Non-Invasive Brain Stimulation and have contributed to clinical trials, systematic reviews, meta-analyses, and translational studies examining neurophysiological biomarkers, treatment response, and safety in interventional psychiatry.

I have authored multiple peer-reviewed publications in national and international journals and regularly present at academic conferences. I am also actively involved in training and mentorship, contributing to capacity building in NIBS for psychiatry residents and fellows.

In parallel, I am committed to advancing LGBTQ+ affirmative mental health care, comprehensive sexuality education, and research in gender and sexuality. My work in this area focuses on inclusive clinical practice, stigma reduction, and equity-oriented mental health systems. I value interdisciplinary collaboration and seek partnerships that bridge neuroscience, clinical innovation, and social justice in mental health care.
