Manisha Agarwal

About

Dr. Manisha Agarwal is working with Singapore campus of James Cook University (JCU) as a Senior Lecturer in Business and Psychology programs. She is also Head of Accreditation for Singapore Campus leading various accreditations including AACSB accreditation for l. Dr Manisha has been leading the AACSB accreditation project for Business School at JCUS and has played a key role in successful AACSB accreditation in 2021. She is an active member of AACSB community and has participated and presented in several conferences.
Dr Manisha has demonstrated exceptional research output, with peer-reviewed publications in reputable journals, including Current Issues in Tourism, Tourism Recreation Research and Asia Pacific Journal of Tourism Research. Dr Manisha’s work, focusing on tourist behaviour, tourism management and post COVID travel has garnered more than 300 citations, indicating significant impact in the field. She has recently published a book with Springer publication. She has recently edited a special issue of a scopus Q1 ABDC- B ranked journal.
She is currently supervising one PhD candidate and open to collaborate with scholars, practitioners and PhD candidates in tourism.
Her research interests include tourist behaviour and understanding of underlying psychological processes in tourists.
