Early Life and Education:
Bharat Kumar Gupta was born and raised in Deoria city UP, India, where his early education laid a strong foundation for his future academic pursuits. Showing a keen interest in science from a young age, Bharat excelled in his studies, particularly in physics, which would become his primary field of interest.

Academic Journey:
Bharat pursued his undergraduate degree in Physics from BRD PG college Deoria UP 274001, INDIA affiliated with Deen Dayal Upadhyay Gorakhpur University, Gorakhpur UP, India; where he graduated with top honors with Physics and Mathematics Subjects. His exceptional performance and deep curiosity in the subject led him to continue his studies at the postgraduate level. He completed his Master’s degree in Physics from Deen Dayal Upadhyay Gorakhpur University, Gorakhpur UP, India, focusing his research on condensed matter physics, which piqued his interest in the properties of superconducting and Multiferroic material's thin films and ion irradiation effects.

Doctoral Research:
Currently, Bharat Kumar Gupta is a Senior Research Fellow (SRF) in the Physics Department at Deen Dayal Upadhyay Gorakhpur University (DDU Gorakhpur University). Under the mentorship of Dr. Nikhil Kumar, he is working towards his Ph.D., specializing in the field of superconducting and multiferroic thin films. His research aims to explore the novel properties and applications of these materials, which hold significant promise for advancements in technology and materials science.

Research Focus:
Bharat’s work involves the synthesis and characterization of superconducting and multiferroic thin films along with ion irradiation effect study. His research is particularly focused on understanding the interplay between superconductivity and magnetism in these materials, which could lead to the development of new, more efficient electronic devices. By employing various experimental techniques such as pulsed laser deposition and sputtering, along with advanced characterization methods like X-ray diffraction (XRD), SQUID-VSM, PPMS, MPMS, AFM, Ion Irradiation facility and scanning electron microscopy (SEM), Bharat aims to uncover new phenomena and enhance the practical applications of these advanced materials.

Contributions and Publications:
Throughout his doctoral journey, Bharat has contributed to several national and international conferences, sharing his findings with the scientific community. He has authored multiple research papers and book chapter published in reputed journals, detailing his innovative work on the synthesis and properties of superconducting and multiferroic thin films. His publications have garnered attention for their potential implications in the fields of electronics and material science.

Future Aspirations:
Bharat Kumar Gupta aspires to continue his research in academia or industry, aiming to push the boundaries of current knowledge in the field of superconducting and multiferroic materials. He hopes to collaborate with other leading researchers and contribute to significant technological advancements that can have a wide-reaching impact on society. His group have collaberated with IIT Kanpur, Inter University Accelerator Center (IUAC) New Delhi, UGC-DAE CSR Indore, Physical Science Department, and Nano-Science Department of JNU New Delhi.

Personal Life:
Outside of his research, Bharat enjoys Teaching of Physics, Indian Music and Playing Cricket with Friends and colleague, which provide a well-rounded balance to his rigorous academic life. He is also actively involved in various outreach programs aimed at inspiring young students to pursue careers in science and technology.
