About
Dr. Abhishek Mukherjee, a brilliant Marine Ecologist (specializing in coastal/estuarine/riverine ecology and allied fields), is presently affiliated to ISRO (Project) and Dept. of Marine Sc., University of Calcutta as post-doctoral scientist. He topped the merit list in both his B.Sc. (Hons.) and M.Sc. exams held by the University of Calcutta. A hardcore naturalist by passion, he is ever engrossed in his studies on aquatic/coastal/marine ecology, mangrove ecology and bio-geochemistry as well as fish breeding & behaviour. He is also a prolific author of peer-reviewed research papers in internationally reputed journals, as well as books on marine ecology, in addition to serving as reviewer in many internationally esteemed science journals.
