Uma Maheswara Rao Seelam
National Institute of Technology Warangal, University of Central Florida, Indian Institute of Technology BHU Varanasi
About
Dr. Seelam received M.Tech from the Department of Metallurgical Engineering at IIT(BHU), Varanasi in 2004 and MS+PhD from the Department of Materials Science and Engineering at the University of Central Florida, Orlando, Florida (USA) in 2010. After working briefly in the TriQuint Semiconductor company in Florida, US, he moved to the National Institute for Materials Science (NIMS), Tsukuba, Japan for his post-doctoral fellowship in 2012. He spent 3 years at NIMS working on the rare-earth permanent magnets. He returned to the US in 2016 as a Specialist at EAG Labs at Syracuse, New York. He joined NIT Warangal as a regular faculty in early 2018.
