About
I received my B.Tech degree in Electronics and Communication Engineering from Sri Venkatewara University, India, in April 2007. I received my M.Tech degree in Digital Electronics and Communication Systems from JNT University, India, in September 2009. I was awarded a Doctor of Philosophy from the Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering, National Institute of Technology, Tiruchirappalli, India, in February 2024. During my doctoral studies, I have conducted research on image fusion, specifically focusing on multi-focus, multi-exposure, and multi-sensor (CT and MRI, VI and IR) images. This research focuses on the fusion of several modalities in order to restore and combine them into a single image while ensuring that no crucial information is lost from the original images.
I have authored and published a total of 28 research publications in reputable international journals. I have 11 patents published in Intellectual Property, Government of India. I have presented 22 research findings in National Conferences and 16 in International Conferences. I also have 9 book chapters in various engineering domains. I Got Best Paper award for the paper titled “Plant Disease Classification using DL Techniques for Smart Agriculture” in 2024 IEEE International Conference on Recent Innovation in Smart and Sustainable Technology (ICRISST-2024), March 15-16, 2024. Organized by The school of Engineering, Presidency University, Bangalore, Karnataka. I Got Best Paper award for the paper titled “Fluorescein Angiography Retinal Image Registration using Coherent Pixel Correspondence” in International Conference on Advances in Technologies and Applications for Sustainability (ICATAS-2023), September 05-06, 2023. Organized by The school of computing, Mohan Babu University, Tirupati, Andhra Pradesh.
I am the reviewer of various SCI, SCIE and Scopus indexed journals such as Scientific Reports (Nature Publisher, SCIE, Q1), IET Image Processing (Wiley Publisher, SCIE, Q2), Applied Intelligence (Springer Publisher, SCIE, Q2), Current Medical Imaging (Bentham Science Publisher, SCIE, Q3), Measurement: Sensors (ELSEVIER Publisher, Scopus, Q3).
I have also served as an International scientific advisory committee member for 20th International Conference on Advanced Communication Networks (ICACN-2018), Paris, France, Jan-18 and 19th International Conference on Advanced Communication Networks and Services (ICACNS 2017), Hong Kong, China, December 4 - 5, 2017. I am also Editorial Board Member of various international journals. My areas of interest include Digital image and Video Processing, Deep Learning and Machine Learning, Digital Signal Processing, 5G OTFS, Electromagnetic Waves and Transmission Lines and Antennas and Wave Propagation.
