About

Prof. Md. Nur Alam is a Professor at the department of Mathematics, Pabna University of Science and Technology, Pabna, Bangladesh. He completed his B. Sc. (Hons.) and M. Sc. (Thesis) in Mathematics from Rajshahi University, Rajshahi, Bangladesh, in 2008 and 2009, respectively. He also awarded M. Phil Degree in Mathematics in the field of mathematical physics in 2015 from Pabna University of Science and technology, Bangladesh. Finally, he successfully completed his Ph. D. in Computational Mathematics under a very prestigious scholarship, “CAS-TWAS President’s Fellowship” at the University of Science and Technology of China (USTC), China. His current research interests include fluid flow, heat transfer, blood flow, nanofluid flow, single/hybrid nanofluid flow, transport in porous medium, computer graphics, CAGD, IGA, mathematical physics, integral and fractional order of PDEs, nonlinear dynamics, the theoretical plasma physics. Dr. Alam’s research work already received 2,436 citations with h-index 30, and i10-index 70 and also his research work already received 1,448 citations with h-index 24 with Scopus ID. According to Elsevier and Stanford University, USA in September 2022 and 2023, Prof. Alam is one of World top 2% scientists. Prof. Alam participated in and presented (keynote speaker, invited speaker, guest speaker, oral presenter, and poster presenter) his research findings at many national and international conferences. Presently, he has supervised six MSc students and 30 B.Sc. (honors) students. He serves as an Associate Editor, Academic Editor, Guest Editor, Chief Editor, and Editorial Board Member for prestigious international journals.
