Dr. Raghubeer Singh Bangari
Graphic Era Hill University, INDIAN INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY KANPUR, Indian Institute of Technology Roorkee
About
I earned a Ph.D. from the Department of Mechanical Engineering, IIT Kanpur, in 2021.
I completed my M.Tech and B.Tech. from IIT Roorkee and G.B.Pant University of Agriculture and Technology, Pant Nagar, Uttarakhand, respectively.
Before entering into the Ph.D., I had been working as an Assistant Professor at Graphic Era Hill University, Bhimtal Campus.
Coming to my research work, I am an experimentalist working in the area of 2D nanomaterial. I have synthesized and optimized the boron nitride nanosheets (BNNSs) to get a large specific surface area. This nanomaterial has not only wide applications in different streams of engineering but can also be explored for fundamental studies.
I have functionalized the same material with magnetic nanoparticles to enhance the adsorption of Arsenic (V) from the highly contaminated water. Moreover, Dyes, pharmaceuticals, and a combination of both dyes and pharmaceuticals had also been done by using the optimized BNNSs.
