About
Medical anthropologist with a specialist interest in disability in development, particularly focussed on the lives and concerns of disabled adults and children and their families, participatory and inclusive research methodologies. Recent studies have explored participatory evaluation of Community Based Rehabilitation, sexuality and sexual violence against disabled people, access to health for disabled people, working with disabled children and adults as peer researchers, and working with disabled teenagers on identity, interventions to promote disability inclusive employment and inclusive education and support for carers.
Regional interests are mainly in South Asia, and Eastern and Southern Africa.
