About

Subrat Kumar is a PhD researcher working under the supervision of Prof. Vidit Gaur in the Department of Mechanical and Industrial Engineering at the Indian Institute of Technology Roorkee. Prior to joining IIT Roorkee, he worked as a Research Scientist at the Bremen Institute for Production and Logistics (BIBA), University of Bremen, Germany, under the guidance of Dipl.-Inform. Karl Hribernik and Prof. Klaus-Dieter Thoben.His research focuses on machine learning, Industry 4.0 technologies, materials development, and applied artificial intelligence. He obtained his Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from Sant Longowal Institute of Engineering and Technology (SLIET), India.
