About
Dr. G.R. Dillip is a Physicist/Material Scientist at Energy Institute Bengaluru, Centre of RGIPT, India. He contributed to teaching undergraduate and graduate students in various reputed Institutions for 12 years. He served as a Faculty/Scientist at Prestigious National/International Institutes like the Indian Institute of Science, India, and Yeungnam University, South Korea. He has twelve years of research experience developing various materials for diverse applications. And several years of hands-on experience in a few in-house and central instruments such as XRD, SEM, XPS, IR, TEM, and Electrochemical Workstation. He has received several awards, such as NESA Young Scientist of the Year 2021 by NESA-India, Inspire Faculty Award by the Department of Science and Technology, India, Postdoc from Yeungam University, South Korea, Best Student Award during postgraduate, and NCC ‘A, B, and C’ by Ministry of Defence, India. He has mentored a few graduate students (during my abroad visit) and three Master' students (at EIB) for their thesis. He is mentoring 2 Master's and 1 Ph.D. student at Energy Institute Bengaluru, India. He published several peer-reviewed original articles (~40 articles - SCI/SCIE) in referred International journals of high reputation, several conference proceedings, a book chapter, and registered two Patents for the Republic of Korea. He also served as a reviewer for many International Journals. Currently, He is a member of the Royal Society of Chemistry, UK; American Chemical Society, USA; the Electrochemical Society, USA; Indian Physics Association; and a Life member of the Materials Research Society of India, Luminescence Society of India, National Environmental Science Academy, and Asia-Pacific Chemical, Biological & Environmental Engineering Society.
