I am doing Ph.D from CSIR-Central Institute of Medicinal and Aromatic Plants, Lucknow, India. My doctoral work is focused on “Evaluation of productivity, quality and resource use efficiency of Ocimum basilicum L. under co-cultivation systems”
Development of management practices under current constraints and opportunities, optimization of propagation techniques through seeds and vegetative means and development of agro-practices under laboratory/glass house and field conditions, are the primary areas of my research interest.
Developing good agricultural practices for crops, Plant Environment interaction, Physiological studies, agricultural botany, Stress biology, Agro-processing, propagation, Enzymatic activities of plants, Effect of photosynthesis on plants and related fields. I have more than 7 years of research experience in above discussed fields with proven publications records (8 Research papers in national and international reputed journals). Besides this, as project assistant my significant contributions are development of Early Mint Technology, Field technology for saving of geranium mother plants during adverse climatic condition and Agrotechnology of Withania, Ocimum, Citronella crop. I also have good hands training on the quality analysis using GLC, HPLC and TLC
