About

I am a researcher focused on climate change adaptation, coastal vulnerability assessment, and spatial risk modelling. My work integrates geospatial analysis, machine learning, and probabilistic simulation to examine the impacts of sea-level rise and hydro-meteorological hazards, particularly in low-lying coastal regions. I specialize in developing uncertainty-aware frameworks that combine physical exposure, social vulnerability, and policy-relevant risk indices. My recent work includes coastal risk mapping for Kerala, India, using the InVEST model, SHAP-based explainability, and Monte Carlo simulations, as well as dual vulnerability frameworks that integrate socioeconomic and psycho-social dimensions. My research aims to inform locally grounded, SDG-aligned adaptation strategies in climate-vulnerable geographies.
