About

Dr. Pandurang Yashwant Patil is an Assistant Professor at the Department of Environmental Sciences at Ratnagiri Sub-Campus, University of Mumbai. He took his post-graduate degree in Environmental Science from Mumbai University and was awarded a doctorate in the same field in 2013 from Pune University. Being a teacher and Researcher he has published more than 25 research papers in national and international journals of repute in the area of Environmental science.
Many short-term training programs, seminars, conferences, and workshops have been organized by him for the benefit of working professionals. He has served as a member and chairman of several bodies and committees. Also, he was Co-Ordinator i.e Academic and Administrative head of Ratnagiri Sub-Campus for 5 years. He is also a recognized guide for the Ph.D. in Environmental Science at Mumbai University. Also, he has successfully guided two students for the doctor of philosophy in Environmental Sciences. He has successfully completed four minor research projects and one Major research project ongoing. He has delivered keynote talks and lectures at various conferences, seminars, and refresher courses. He is involved in protection activities at the state and national levels in the field of Environmental Sciences.
