Umang Singh is a graduate engineer from the Auckland University of Technology, currently focused on using skills gained in the engineering sector to gain a postgraduate qualification. As an engineer I have worked in around the world in construction, materials, and product development engineering, building rapport and connections around the world. Currently researching perceptions, around digital technology in higher education in New Zealand. Focused on the areas of educational technology and transdisciplinary knowledge to help create students that are better communicators in their area of expertise.
My current roles at AUT in the School of Future environments allow him to gain a deeper understanding into higher education and its views amongst the core members in higher education. Coming from a family of educators I hope to inspire students to gain a deeper passion for what they do, how they do it
