Research in natural products, pharmacology, traditional herbal medicine, and their active compounds for potential therapeutic and pharmaceutical purposes by studying mechanisms and pathways with a special interest in those involved in diabetes-induced oxidative stress and apoptosis using animal models.
(Other fields of research include biopolymers, zoonotic diseases, and wound healing)
