About
Dr. Amar Deep Soren is currently Assistant Professor in the Department of Zoology at B. Borooah College, Guwahati, Assam, India. He completed his Bachelors of Science in Zoology from Bishop Heber College, Trichy, Tamil Nadu, India. He then completed his Masters of Science in Zoology with specialization in Genetics from North-Eastern Hill University, Shillong, Meghalaya, India. He then did his Ph D from the Parasitology and Ethnopharmacology Lab in the Department of Zoology at North-Eastern Hill University. He had earlier served as Assistant Professor in St John College, Dimapur, Nagaland, Union Christian College, Shillong, Meghalaya and Science College, Kokrajhar, Assam, India. He currently works on natural products, ethnopharmacology, entomophagy, toxicology and parasitology.
