Kumar has done his Ph.D. from the Institute of Life Sciences, Bhubaneswar, and currently working as a research scientist at the University of California San Francisco (UCSF) with Wilson Liao. His expertise broadly lies in computational genomics, chemoinformatics, and machine learning for new disease diagnosis biomarker development and identification of potential therapeutic design. Kumar has more than 10 years of experience in the field of Genomics and Computational Biology.
