About
A political theorist by training, I am Assistant Professor at Department of Political Science at Girijananda Chowdhury University, India. Previously I was UGC SRF Doctoral Fellow at Gauhati University. My doctoral research work focused on the idea of justice and on the need to reconcile differing philosophies and theories on justice. In this regard, I use Gandhian epistemology and philosophy and bring him into conversation with thinkers such as Rawls and Sen.
I am also interested in feminist theory and gender. At times, I undertake public policy analysis of contemporary events.
