About
Dr. Rojaleen Das is a recently graduated researcher with a keen interest in various areas of study, including Diagnostic Microbiology, Molecular Microbiology of Infectious Diseases, Infectious Serology, Microbiome and its functionality, and metabolomics. Currently, her research is centered around the Gut Microbiome and delving deeper into its various aspects. The research conducted by the author is titled "A Comparative Analysis of Gut Microflora among Geriatric Populations of Various Age Groups Subjected to Long-Term Non-Steroidal Anti-Inflammatory Drug Treatment and a Healthy Geriatric Population." She serves as a co-investigator in a diagnostic research study entitled "Assessing the efficacy of innovative molecular techniques (multiplex PCR, dipstick, and NGS) for the early detection of ESKAPE organisms and antimicrobial profiling in burn wounds." This research project is financially supported by the Indian Council of Medical Research. The researcher conducted the India’s first study on Blastocystis spp in individuals diagnosed with Irritable Bowel Syndrome, which was subsequently published in the PLOS ONE publication. In addition, she has a keen interest in conducting research that investigates the practical use of Artificial Intelligence in the field of diagnostic Microbiology. Her research effort during the COVID-19 epidemic had validated and standardized the use of Rapid Diagnostic kit use for diagnosis of COVID 19. The individual is faculty In-charge of the diagnosis of infectious serology in cases of viral hepatitis, congenital infections, and transplant recipients. She is a laboratory physician who is well trained to use molecular and advanced technology for diagnosis of various infectious syndrome.
