About

I am a dedicated and innovative researcher specializing in the field of bio-nanotechnology, with a proven track record of advancing knowledge in nanomedicine and drug delivery systems. My academic foundation was laid with a Master’s degree in Technology in Biotechnology (June 2012 – July 2014) from the prestigious Indian Institute of Technology, Hyderabad, where I immersed myself in the complexities of biotechnological applications. Seeking to further specialize, I pursued and completed a Ph.D. in Bio-nanotechnology at Toyo University, Japan (April 2016 - March 2019). Here, my research centered on developing efficient drug delivery systems using therapeutic nanoparticles, focusing on applications in cancer nanotechnology. Upon completing my doctorate in March 2019, I embarked on a postdoctoral research journey at the same institution (May 2019 – March 2022). Over three years, I led pivotal research and development projects, bridging the gap between interdisciplinary nanotechnology and practical applications in cancer treatment, chemistry, and engineering. This period was marked by my efforts to standardize operating procedures for cell culture and nurture the next generation of scientists through meticulous supervision and training. In March 2023, I embraced a new challenge as a Post-doctoral Researcher at the School of Mechanical & Manufacturing Engineering. Here, I am at the forefront of a pioneering project under the Disruptive Technologies Innovation Fund, aiming to develop a biomimetic treatment for brittle bone fractures in osteoporosis patients—a testament to my versatility and adaptability in applying my expertise to diverse research areas. My tenure as a Research Assistant at the Bio-Nano Electronics Research Centre (May 2016 - March 2019) was characterized by significant advancements in the synthesis and characterization of drug-loaded nanoparticles and hands-on experience with a variety of cancer cell lines. My commitment to education is demonstrated through the training of students at the Global International School, Tokyo, where I taught principles and operations of advanced instruments like TEM, SEM, and XPS. My research contributions have been recognized in several high-impact publications and by prestigious awards such as the Best Oral Presentation at AMSE-2021 and the Inoue Enryo Research Grant Award (2018-2019). As a Monbukagakusho (MEXT-2016) Scholarship recipient and a Gandhian Young Technological Innovation (GYTI-2015) awardee, I have consistently been acknowledged for my innovative work.
