Currently working as Associate Professor in the department of Bioscience and Biotechnology Banasthali Vidyapith, Rajasthan, India. She has 17 years of experience in teaching and research. She has supervised 11 Ph.D students who has completed their degree and 6 students currently working under her guidance.
She has completed her Doctoral degree in Biotechnology from National Botanical Research Institute (NBRI), CSIR Lucknow on the “Molecular Assessment of Biodiversity and Biosystematics of Pteris (L.), a genus of arsenic hyper-accumulating ferns, using PCR-based methods.
Research expertise : Area of specialization is Agricultural Biotechnology, Nanobiotechnology, Genetic & Biochemical diversity analysis and Phytoremediation technology especially mitigation of heavy metals and hydrocarbons from the contaminated soil. Utilization of agricultural waste for preparation of herbal combinations which can be further used as Biofertilizer and Biopesticides.
Published more than 62 research papers in the journals of international repute(Scopus index ) with more than 4 to 5 impact factors and published 7 book chapters in Springer and Willey books. She has also supervised 20-25 DBT funded project students for the research advancement.

• Research work at Central Institute of Medicinal & Aromatic Plants (CIMAP-CSIR) Lucknow as a project fellow (2004).
• Worked in School of Environmental Sciences Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU)New Delhi as a research fellow of Indian Academy of Sciences.
Patent filed:One Patent filed for invention of “Hovel herbal Formulation” as biocidal property.
