About
I am a PhD in Structural biology with M.Tech in Biotechnology and Biochem Engineering. After pursued my M. Tech from IIT-Kharagpur, India in 2006 I joined Department of Biological Science, National University of Singapore for my PhD on Structure Biology. In Macromolecular Crystallography lab of DBS, NUS under the guidance of Prof. Swaminathan I was trained in protein biochemistry and crystallography. In 2011, I joined Structural Biology lab of Prof (Distinguished) Eric Xu in Van Andel Institute, Michigan. There I mainly worked on GPCRs and receptor tyrosine kinase MET. My work was published in several peer review journals which includes Nature, Cell and JBC. Among my work the most relevant one is crystal structure of Rhodopsin-arrestin, cryo-EM model of Rhodopsin-G protein receptor kinase and cryo-EM structure of GPCR-beta Arrestin complex.
