About

I, Jogen Sharma, serving as Assistant Librarian at India International Centre (IIC), New Delhi, where I lead the Digital Library, Library Website, RFID, Remote Access and strategic service quality enhancement. I bring over a decade of professional experience in academic, research and cultural Library Environments, with expertise in Library Automation, Digital Repositories, RFID-enabled transformation, bibliometric research and accreditation documentation.

Before joining IIC, I worked at the Management Development Institute, Murshidabad (2016–2025), contributing to policy planning; digital transformation using Koha, Moodle LMS, ERP support for institutional rankings (NBA, CRISIL, MBAUniverse) and serving as an Editorial Assistant for the MDIM Journal of Management Review and Practice. I also mentored users in the Bloomberg Finance Lab.

Pursuing a PhD in Library and Information Science from KIIT Deemed to be University and holding MLIS, BLIS and PGDLAN qualifications. I have authored 32 scholarly publications (including Scopus/ABDC/WoS) and maintain active memberships in BLA, MANLIBNET, ILA, MALA and LIS Academy. My professional interests include digital archiving, scholarly communication and technology-driven library innovation.
