Prof. (Dr.) S. China Venkateswarlu is currently working as a Professor of CSE & Exams I/C in the FITE & Coordinator -UGC MOOCs NPTEL-SPOC at Gopal Narayan Singh University Jamuhar, Sasaram, Rohtas District, Bihar. He previously served as Professor of CSE at IARE, Hyderabad. With over 21 years of professional experience, he has held key academic and administrative positions including Associate Lecturer, Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, Professor, Dean, Head of Department, and Principal. He obtained his B.Tech from Acharya Nagarjuna University, Guntur; M.Tech(DSCE) from JNTU Hyderabad; and Ph.D. in Speech Enhancement from JNTUK Kakinada. He also completed the AICTE–QIP PG Program in Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning from IIIT Una, Himachal Pradesh. He has taught a wide range of UG and PG engineering courses and served as a Visiting Associate Professor at the School of Electrical & Computing Engineering, ASTU University, Adama, Ethiopia. Prof. (Dr.) S. China Venkateswarlu has published over 47 research papers in national and international journals and presented 25 papers at conferences. He reviewed a book on Digital Signal Processing for Pearson Education and authored the textbook "Wavelet Hybrid Threshold and Window Functions for Speech Enhancement" published by LAP (Lambert Academic Publishing). He holds 14 patents (including 2 granted) and has successfully guided 4 Ph.D. scholars (all awarded), besides serving as an external examiner for Ph.D. thesis evaluations. He is a Life Member of ISTE, FIETE (EC Member), CSI, SDIWC, IAENG, and an active IEEE Member (Computer Society, Signal Processing Society). He serves as a reviewer for Elsevier (Signal Processing) and other international journals. His research interests include Signal Processing, Image and Speech Processing, Hearing Technologies, and Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning. He has successfully completed multiple UGC-NPTEL–SWAYAM MOOCs from IITs and IIITs, earning 20 academic credits per course in areas such as Cloud Computing, Deep Learning, Affective Computing, Software Testing, IoT, Machine Learning, and Advanced Graph Theory. Prof. (Dr.) S. China Venkateswarlu has made significant contributions to academic governance and national research initiatives, serving as an External Expert Member (PDR) at DRDL–DRDO, Government of India, and as a resource person, keynote speaker, judge, and panel member in several national and international academic forums. His IEEE membership spans over five years. He holds downloadable certificates from the IEEE Computer Society, Signal Processing Society , IEEE Council on Electronic Design Automation (CEDA), IEEE Sensors Council, and IEEE Signal Processing Society. He is also affiliated with several other IEEE technical communities including Data Engineering, Biometrics Council, RFID Council, Superconductivity Council, Nanotechnology Council, Systems Council, and Transportation Electrification Council. He currently serves as a Member of the EAB EPICS Grant Reviewers (2024–2027) , present served as Advisor for the IEEE Student Branch at FITE-GNSU-Jamhur, Bihar since January 2026.and previously served as Advisor for the IEEE Student Branch at IARE, Hyderabad (2019). His sustained engagement strongly supports quality enhancement and outcome-based education in alignment with NAAC and NBA quality benchmarks.
