About
Sachin Kumar Mangla is a Full Professor of Supply Chain and Operations and Business Decision Making, specializing in green and sustainable supply chains, low-carbon operations, Industry 4.0, circular economy and decision modelling. He teaches across universities in the UK, Turkey, India, China and France. A committed researcher, he has published widely in leading journals such as POM, BJM, OMEGA, TRE, JBL, IJPE, IJPR, PPC, JBR and many more. With an h-index of 94 and over 28,000 citations, he also serves as regular Associate and Guest Editor for several top journals. He is involved in major sustainability and circular economy projects, including EU RISE (€1.3M), a British Council Newton Fund grant, and grants from ICSSR, AICTE, DST etc. He has been received the prestigious fellowship from IIIE, IETI and IMP. He has been ranked He has also been awarded with a certified lean consultant status from NPC, Ministry MSME, Govt. of India. He was also ranked among the top 2% scientists in the world by the Stanford University for the last consecutive three years 2022, 2023 and 2024. In 2023, has also been included in the Clarivate™ list of the top 7,125 global research scientists (1% top scientists in social science research) and social scientists (1 in 1000) who have demonstrated significant and broad influence in their field(s) of research. He is also the member of NWO - Dutch Research Council and Austria Research Councils - Circular Economy Committee. He is also an active member of The Future Earth Systems of Sustainable Consumption and Production Knowledge-Action Network (SSCP KAN). He has also worked as an advisory expert panel member for AICTE and ICSSR, Govt of India.
