About

Geetanjali Kapoor has worked on diverse research domains such as Energy Efficiency in Buildings, Sustainability, Urban Design, Walkability, and Redevelopment projects in Architecture including Social Issues. She is a Research Scholar at Guru Nanak Dev University and currently working as an Associate Professor at Chandigarh University, India. She has shown her interest through her publications in exploring the role of IT, digital technologies and automation in the construction sector. Her main focus is working on Building Envelope to make Buildings Energy Efficient by writing and formulating different strategies with the help of IT and simulations in enhancing the building performance. She has recently published in "Reviewing the role of Automation in the Construction Sector: BIM and Digital Technology Applications". (ESIC-2022). As an academician, portfolios like teaching, guiding thesis students (Multi-disciplinary), Board of studies, establishing Centre of excellence -Indian Knowledge Systems and all courses coming under architectural education are being handled successfully in rendering best of services for the fraternity.
